ABOUT ME
I was was born in Siena, Italy.
At the age of four my father gave her a box of markers. I immediately began to doodle stories on the house walls, and after a few weeks of repainting, I finally received paper as well. I have not stopped writing since.
I call Whidbey Island, Washington, home where I settled in 2001 after globetrotting the world teaching Italian in exotic places as far away as Japan.
I hold a Classic Italian Literature and Philosophy degree with a minor in English still laced with a Chianti-infused accent.
I speak fluent Spanish, have forgotten most of my French, and holds tightly to my Japanese, mostly by eating sushi every chance I get.
I share a yellow cottage on the island with my husband, an unstoppable toddler, 3 cats, a vegetable garden, and a fig tree named Federico. Every residual free minute of my life is spent working on Book II of the Entrainment Series, and catching up on some much-needed sleep..
